Our Community Partners

Since Windsor was formed in 1999, it has enjoyed an affinity with nonprofit organizations so its client base contains a high proportion of registered nonprofit organizations.
It also exercises its social responsibility in a variety of other ways throughout the year.

It also exercises its social responsobility in a variety of other ways throughout the year.

The Windsor culture of community involvement works through several major themes that work sequentially, though not necessarily concurrently:

Initiatives include:

  • Scholarships
Scholarships to students at the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at the School of Business, Queensland University of Technology.

  • Seminars
Ongoing seminars relating to Board and CEO issues, HR and other cultural and legal issues are offered to nonprofit clients and prospective partners. In collaboration with the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at QUT..
  • Research
As part of its on-going relationship with QUT, Windsor is also involved in a series of ongoing research projects on nonprofit HR issues, with Senior Lecturer and research fellow, Dr Cameron Newton.

  • Lunchtime Forums
Regular lunchtime forums in protected peer environment are run regularly for different groups of executives from commercial and nonprofit sectors.
These include CEO's, Board members/Chairs and HR Directors

These events provide an opportunity for confidential informal and open discussion for executives in influential roles..

  • Professional development
Windsor operates SmartHour breakfast training sessions so office support professionals can network, upgrade attributes and interact with specialist mentors.
  • Sponsorships
These come in two forms with the first involving the Fundraising Institute of Australia as well as other organizations that require support for their various awards.

However, the Windsor team is invariably a major sponsor and participant in the various fundraising events staged by its clients.

For example, it enthusiastically supports the Mater Foundation Annual Gala Spring Fashion Parade and the Montrose  Access Spring Racing Carnival calendar among many others.

Periodically, Windsor also holds its own charity events to the benefit of various charity organizations.

  • Direct Donations
Donations are from the firm and via staff programs and come in addition to pro bono advice and consultation.

  • Environmental responsibility
Windsor Recruitment is proactive about environmental responsibility. Management takes advice from an environmental consultant so as to be sure of keeping pace with ecobiz movement. This means that the company is continually adopting and implementing 'greener' processes and procedures.
