Tips For Windsor Temps

Windsor has a well-earned reputation for always having 'the best people' as temps.

We have achieved this standing by asking all the people who work for us to adhere to the following guidelines.

  1. Turn off all mobile phones

On a temporary assignment through Windsor you are not permitted to have your mobile phone switched on

  2. Attend to phone business outside and in your breaks

Urgent contact-calls can be routed through your Consultant who can ring you at any time throughout the day. You may also use the Windsor number 3211 0001 as an emergency call contact for your family.

  3. No personal phone calls during work hours

Should you need to make a personal call please gain permission from your supervisor first.

  4. No personal e-mails

E-mail / internet is a privilege for work use only. At no time should you log on for personal use.

  5. Connect with your supervisor

Check on arrival each day. And if you need to leave your workstation or the office for an extended period please notify your supervisor beforehand.

  6. Headphones

Don't listen to music during business hours unless that is a specifically authorized behaviour for that office.

  7. Interview Times

Please try to schedule any interviews or appointments before or after work hours. If time off is unavoidable, please contact your consultant first.

  8. Time Out/ Holidays or Sick Days

If you require time off for holidays or sick days please contact Windsor to arrange this on your behalf.

  9. Dress Code

Dress code is always business attire including stockings and closed work shoes unless the code at that workplace varies from this.
