The MS Society’s Big Dinner Party

Every day 5 more Australians are told they have MS...
and that – as yet - there is no cure.
There are lots of ways you can get involved to help these people
to live a more fulfilling life…

You can help by hosting your own dinner party.
It’s so simple!

Just invite your friends over for dinner
and ask them to give what they would have paid for a night out.
Collect the proceeds and send the money on to the MS Society
to be used to help Queenslanders living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Big Dinner Party is actually happening in March.

But you can register yours now and get cracking on your menu and guest list! Whether it’s a BBQ lunch or a 3 course dinner, you decide how simple or elaborate your dinner party will be. Register your dinner party via the website by clicking on the Green Register Now button at www.bigdinnerparty.com.au – it’s easy and lots of fun!

And there are other ways that you can help, too.

1) “Like” the Big Dinner Party Facebook Page: become a Facebook fan of the Big Dinner Party page by clicking here www.facebook.com/BigDinnerParty

2) Tell everyone you know about Big Dinner Party from friends and family to neighbours and your bus driver…shout it loud in the supermarket!

What is MS?

MS is the most common neurological condition affecting young Australian adults. It’s a disease that is often diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40 years and it attacks a person’s brain and spinal cord, causing irreparable damage. Some of the symptoms of MS include loss of eyesight, mobility, balance and coordination problems, slurring of words, constant pins and needles, fatigue and a heightened sensitivity to the heat.
The MS Society is the only organisation that provides vital support and services to people living with MS and their families to help them cope with living with this disease. Without them, those with MS would be left to themselves to find support.

And they need more help. Help the MS Society help those in need and host a Big Dinner Party of your own this March. It’s fun and easy to do!
